UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS
There are two different teams in all of HoF. One operates ICLY. The other operates OOCLY.

Great House of Forstander is an entity that was founded and designed to wield political power and influence in one region or more. This needs to be understood. We are not just a family...we are a political house, with EXPECTATIONS. Political houses ran Castes in Gor and were very influential. They offered only the best Scribes, Physicians, Builders and Warriors, Merchants to the Castes. Roleplay is a team sport that only persists when people who think alike come to SL Gor to share the same dream: to provide the best political roleplay, challenge our limits, and develop our characters and our family every second of the game.
GOREAN NOVEL REFERENCE
Political Houses influenced elections and the most powerful families had a sit in the High Council of Ar in the novels. In the novels there would be houses who were members of one single political house. This mostly in Ar. Membership came with Companionship or having to speak with the person recognized as the leader or Head of the House, or you would pay your admission with coin or a wage. Please understand that politics are not love and sweetness. Politics are harsh and challenging. It is Gor.
YOU ARE A MEMBER
You HAVE to watch your behavior in public, the way you conduct yourself before others. Cordial or disrespectful is your choice when you play the game, when you roleplay and maneuver the life of your character and every one of their decisions and actions.
Here is one EXAMPLE so that you can understand this concept:
EXAMPLE: House of Pertyr is a member of the political House. BUT Lourdes Pertyr does not behave the same way Dadga Solberg behaves. The both of them don't certainly behave like Faena Forstander behaves. THIS IS FINE. They are all Free Women either way. Still, all are members of the Great House and its Minor Houses need to abide by its laws. Each family has their own ways, traditions, personality traits. It is what makes them different from the rest of the families. And remember, your IC actions in roleplay have IC consequences IN roleplay which you MUST face.
